Cricket Format Explained
The type of bet available varies by cricket format. Knowing what each format offers helps you make more confident decisions.
T20
Each innings is just 20 overs. Matches usually finish in 3 to 4 hours. This fast-paced format offers many markets including innings totals, top batter and six count. Both BPL and IPL are T20 leagues.
ODI (One-Day)
50-over innings, match duration up to 8 hours. The ICC World Cup and Asia Cup use this format. Match winner, total runs, time of wicket fall — the markets are even wider. The best format for Bangladesh Tigers.
Test
Up to 180 overs per innings played across five days. A game of long-term strategy. Session results, day's runs and innings margin are among the special markets available in Test cricket.
The Hundred
England's newer format — 100 balls per innings. Each set is 10 balls. It is faster than T20 and comes with its own new betting markets.
Popular Leagues
BPL (Bangladesh Premier League): Bangladesh's domestic T20 league, with special appeal for Bangladeshi fans. | IPL: Indian Premier League — the most popular T20 league in the world. | BBL: Big Bash League (Australia). | PSL: Pakistan Super League.
Stay Smart with Cricket Betting
At criketex, live odds update before and during every match. Markets shift as an innings progresses — placing the right bet at the right time makes the experience more enjoyable.
Set a budget, check the stats and play responsibly.
How to Read Odds
Understanding odds is the most important skill in online betting. Take a moment and the whole thing will become clear.
Decimal Odds
The simplest format — multiply your stake by the odds to get your total return.
Example: ৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900 (profit ৳400)
So odds of 1.80 imply a probability of around 56%.
Fractional Odds
British-style odds such as 4/5 mean a ৳5 stake returns ৳4 profit. Total return = stake plus profit.
On a ৳500 stake at 4/5 odds, profit is ৳400 and total return is ৳900.
American Odds (Moneyline)
Shown with a + or - sign. +180 means ৳180 profit on a ৳100 stake. -180 means ৳100 profit on a ৳180 stake.
Decimal format is the default on criketex — easy to understand.
| Format | Example | Total Return on ৳500 Stake | Explanation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.80 | ৳900 | ৳500 × 1.80 |
| Fractional | 4/5 | ৳900 | ৳500 + (৳500 × 4/5) |
| American | +80 | ৳900 | ৳500 + ৳400 profit |
Crash Games — Fast Multipliers
Aviator by Spribe and similar crash games offer a completely different kind of experience. Each round lasts from a few seconds to a few minutes and results come fast.
How a Round Works
- Place your bet before the round starts.
- The multiplier rises from 1.00×.
- Cash out at any point you choose.
- If you do not cash out before the crash, you lose your stake.
Auto Cash Out
Set a target multiplier and the game will cash out automatically when that level is reached — no risk of missing it in the rush.
Keep in mind: Set your daily stop-limit before you start playing. Crash games move fast — do not go beyond your budget.
No "prediction tool" or "signal group" is reliable — crash game results are controlled entirely by a random algorithm.
Live Casino Tables
